LOS ANGELES (AP) - Health officials in Los Angeles are urging high-risk gay and bisexual men to get the meningitis vaccine after observing an uptick in the number diagnosed with invasive meningococcal disease, a potentially deadly infection.
The county health department reported Thursday there have been 11 confirmed cases in Southern California since March.
